EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) plastic is a lightweight, rigid, and versatile material made from fused polystyrene beads. It is commonly used for insulation, packaging, and cushioning due to its low cost and good insulation properties.
However, EPS is non-biodegradable and takes a long time to decompose in landfills. Its production also involves petroleum-based chemicals, contributing to pollution. Therefore, efforts are being made to explore eco-friendly alternatives to minimize its environmental impact.

APPLICABLE MATERIALS

BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The EPS hot melting machine uses a 4-axis crushing blade design. Two parallel blade shafts symmetrically hold the blades, and the blades on the two shafts are arranged in a staggered manner. The blades on each shaft are evenly distributed along the shaft when viewed from the same direction. The first and last blades on each shaft form a 90° angle.
When the 4-axis crushing blades are in operation, the two parallel blade shafts with different rotation directions start rotating, creating a downward wave-like clamping effect, causing the material to continuously move downward. After being cut by the cutting blades, the material is crushed into smaller chunks. Then, the material is blown into a storage bin by a fan for storage of a certain quantity, and later it is melted in the hot melting machine.
The material is conveyed by a high-speed rotating screw into the heating barrel. The main screw conveys and heats the material to a molten state, and then extrudes it. The hydraulic blades cut it into chunks for easy storage and transportation.
